Manado - females and lifestyle , Hopefully this post will be worthy of discussion, because I'm a first timer here and new to Indonesian culture, and not even expat myself so I hope it's still allowed to post, haha But it's about relationships with Indonesian girls so I think that will be just as interesting.
Before I got into this, I didn't know that, besides many churches, Manado is known for very beautiful bule hunting girls, who like to please sexually. I am sure there are different opinions about this though, so please chime in. My question is: is there a considerate sub culture in Manado that displays strict values but is in reality the opposite?
Meaning: girls are cunningly playing innocent to get guys from the West to marry them, in the meanwhile being sexually active with other guys? In short, I met a Christian Indonesian girl online from Manado, very beautiful and we had Skype conversations for about 2 months to find out if we could trust eachother, what our interests were and such. She was quite consistent and open during that time so I decided to trust her. Outgoing, sweet and funny girl.
